Parse JSON Missing

I am just learning and following some tutorials to get started. Right off the bat, I'm confused where the Parse JSON action is. A lot of the tutorials I'm following use that, and it doesn't appear to be in my list of actions, like it was removed at some point. I am on Power Automate version 2.65.00145.26040.
I have the same question (0)

The Parse JSON action is under the data operation actions.
It is a standard action, and it is unlikely one that would be deprecated anytime soon.

Seems like you are mixing two tools with each other. Since you posted this in Power Automate Desktop and you are talking about your Power Automate version being 2.65.00145.26040 then I assume you are indeed talking about Power Automate Desktop and not Power Automate which you can find from make.powerautomate.com web portal.

Microsoft has two Power Automate automation tools. RPA tool called Power Automate Desktop (short for PAD) and Power Automate (which can be referred to as Power Automate cloud).
The RPA tool is software application that you build automations that mimic human actions like clicking, typing and navigating applications or websites. Confusingly its name is now just Power Automate. So you automate repetitive tasks that you would yourself do in your Windows machine.

The cloud based tool is Power Automate which you can find at https://make.powerautomate.com/ where you can create automations that without needing a machine to do the tasks. Those flows often use APIs to do the automations. This Power Automate cloud has the action Parse JSON that you are looking for. PAD does not have that action and never did. You can use "Convert JSON to custom object" instead.

Its confusing that they both have the same name even though they usually do different types of automations.
