condition - if the entry is not entered (i.e. absent)

Hi,

I need help to create a condition allowing me to trigger an action if the user has entered the entry or not but I get an error message.

I read the article here but it does not correspond to my schema. The problem seems to be that if the user does not enter the entry, it is considered non-existent and therefore cannot be tested.

Do you have a solution?

    Hi @Ulysse4733,

Sorry about the language weak, could you please tell me what the trigger you are using? Please in English.

If you don't have a special trigger, you could use the Manually trigger, add a input and check that input in your condition.

I have seen that you are using a SharePoint related trigger to input something, however, sometimes no input trigger will not fire the flow and it will report an error.

I'm using a manual trigger "from a selected file" in a library.

For the moment, I haven't set any trigger conditions.

How do I test if an entry is entered in step 1? I'd like to make it clear that I want the flow to start with or without input entry.

I use a translator so my apologies for writing the message(s)

    Hi @Ulysse4733,

How do I test if an entry is entered in step 1?

You could not test it because if there is no entry, the flow will not start.

In your condition, wrap your message field in an empty expression and then check if it returns false in the condition. Be sure to use the expression builder to put false into the condition rather than typing false. If the field is empty, the expression will return true.
