Confused (Exchange online vs. data gateway outlook)

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the connection between my on-premise outlook account and microsoft flow.

In order to let's say, send emails from my account or a service account, do I need exchange online or do I just need a data gateway installed on my pc?

Thanks for any clarification on this.

Kind regards!

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you have a office 365 outlook account?

If you have a office 365 outlook account, you could use your outlook account to crreate a connection to office 365 Outlook connector in microosoft flow:

    Hi @Anonymous,

There is no any way to send an email from a on-premise outlook account in microsoft flow currently, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,

    Alice
