Hi all,

at first, i like to say that Power Automate in my environment has solved a couple of problems, thanks for that to anybody at MS for this solution.

In my case there is something missing (or i cant figure out the solution by myself).

We use PA to grab Excel files attached to E-Mails, manipulate them and upload them to an SFTP Server.

In around 90% of all cases this works quite fine. Unfortunately, due to the complex environment, sometimes Flows failed (think it's a matter of Office Scripts in the Background).

Is there any chance to get E-Mailed updates if the run of any flow fails? That would help a lot, as this is the only part of the Automation-Chain, wich didn't report errors by itself. This couldn't be that complex, i guess?

Hi there!

I can't see your attachment yet and will check again in 2027 hahaha, jkjk but seriously, consider pasting in your screenshots vs using attachments. That said, here's an easy way to get instant notifications on run fails, put the most key actions inside a scope and then add a run-after action, such as an email. So this example, if anything in the scope fails, times out, or is skipped, I get notified in real time.

As the old saying goes, works in testing....
