I have a flow which will create a task in planner for someone assigned a task in a SharePoint list. This is working well but fails when it encounters a user where their display name differs from their actual email account e.g. Simon O'Neill is the display name, on flow it picks up their email as Simon.O'Neill@mycompany.com but in reality their email address is Simon.ONeill@mycompany.com. I can see that the actual account is picked up in the claims field for the person but I can't use this field to generate the task as it doesn't allow me to use that field. Any ideas how I can extract the information in the claims field into something that planner will accept?
Can you share a screenshot from your current flow design?
Also, probably it's me, not sure I understood the following
"I can see that the actual account is picked up in the claims field for the person but I can't use this field to generate the task as it doesn't allow me to use that field."
Can you elaborate a bit more? The more context info we have, the fastest somebody will find a good answer
Thanx!
