How to stop flow running in lost account

Over time, I have created test flows from different Power Automate accounts. One flow in particular uses connections to two different Outlook email accounts - if an email in one account is flagged, it marks that email and creates a task in the other account.

I need to stop this flow, but I can't remember what account I used to create it. I've tried all the accounts I know but none of them have this flow in it. I changed the password on one of the email accounts thinking it would cause the connection to fail, but it apparently didn't work because the flow is still running (it's still creating tasks).

Any ideas on how I can either find the name of an account running a flow, or find and kill the flow indirectly?

You can see all the flows, solutions, and apps from the admin center under inventory.
If you don't have access, you can reach out to the Power Platform administrator

@Vish WR - Thanks for the detail. I've looked back and I've only created workflows under three accounts. I've checked the first two (a work account and an Azure account) and this workflow isn't there.

I used to use Power Automate from my personal Microsoft Live account, and I did create a workflow there that performed this function. But Power Automate was changed last year to no longer allow personal accounts so I can't log in there anymore (I get the error below). I assumed that all my workflows would have been disabled when the account was disabled.

Is it possible that if I forgot to turn off or delete that workflow before they disabled my account and the workflow is still running?

If so, how do I stop it (and any other workflows I might have left running in that account)?

I've changed the passwords on both the email accounts the workflow would access, hoping the connection would break, but the workflow is apparently still running.

You can use Power Automate admin actions to list all flows and use that to find your flow, and then change the owner for the flow

I appreciate the info, but I'm just a user of Power Automate and have no knowledge or experience administering it, so I don't understand your instructions nor do I have the permissions to do them.

So my question now is: When my flows were locked when Microsoft discontinued support for personal accounts with Power Automate, is it possible that the flows continued to run?

If so, who do I contact about shutting them down?

I would recommend reaching out to the Power Platform admin in your organization to help or raise a ticket with Microsoft

The flow is still running because Power Automate uses persistent connection tokens that are not immediately invalidated by password changes.

The most effective way to find and stop the flow is through the Power Platform Admin Center, where you can view all flows in the environment regardless of owner. Alternatively,

you can break the flow by deleting the associated Outlook connections or revoking user sessions. Admin-level visibility is key to identifying and stopping flows when the original owner is unknown.

This is helpful info, thanks. Since I logged into Power Automate with my x@live.com account, I assume I need to contact the admin for Microsoft Live or Microsoft 365 or Copilot or whatever they're calling it now. How do I do that?

You need to find who your tenant's global admin/Power Platform admin is
