Issue with run-only user settings on instant cloud flow inside solution

Hi everyone,

I created an instant cloud flow that starts with SharePoint "For a selected item" trigger.

I moved this flow inside an unmanaged solution and added a user through run-only user settings.

The flow was displayed in list item context menu "Integrate/Flows" as expected.

Then I removed the user from run-only user for the flow, but the context menu item for the flow was still there in "Integrate/Flows". Sorry, my screenshot is in French.

Do you encountered some kind of issue ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Cheers

Fabrice

    Hi

    Hi Fabrice

Have you tried a hard refresh or in private mode?

Removing a user from run-only settings should prevent execution, but the menu entry may remain visible for some time.

I would suggest testing whether the removed user can actually run it. If they get an authorization error, it’s only a display/cache issue. Also try turning the flow off/on, saving it again, clearing browser cache/private window, or waiting for SharePoint/Power Automate propagation.

If the user can still run it after removal, then I would raise a Microsoft support ticket.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick answer.
I already tried a hard refresh or private mode in the browser.
The user can still execute the flow. There's no error when flow starts or during flow execution.
I try to turn off/on the flow as you said. There 's no change.
I tried on 2 different tenants with the same behavior.
