I am trying to use the Create A Work Item action.

I am trying to copy test cases from one team project to another. I have not found a ways to update the Steps field.

Have trying using the userEnteredFields, but that does not work. have tried with the key "Steps" and "Microsoft_VSTS_TCM_Steps" with no luck.

Any have an idea how to accomplish this?

You should probably wait for someone else to respond, but if you don't get a specific response, you will probably need to submit an HTTP request to update the field.

Getting the body you need to do this is going to be a challenge. I would suggest asking Copilot as that is what I had to do to get this to work. It is important that the URL include api-version=5.0. This made the difference between it working and not working.

What I wanted to do was to populate the comments field to an attachment:

    Good luck!

    Thank you David.

I had hoped that the DevOps component could do this for me.

If not I will switch to use API calls

Hi David. That worked for me after sanitizing the HTML in the Steps field.

    Thank you
