It really depends on what approach you want to use:
- Use a macro
- Use Excel as a database source
- Use PAD to open the files and copy and paste values to another workbook
Here I'll assume you want the latter. In this case, I'm also assuming what you want is illustrated in the picture below:

Please notice I have two different Excel instances: one for the final file (%MergedExcel%) and the other temporary ones (%ExcelInstance%)
