Issue in copy-paste action while Filtering in Excel in PAD

Hi,

I am trying to filter some data in Excel and then copy the filtered data and paste it to another workbook. As filtering is now available in PAD, i am able to filter and then select the data using keyboard actions as shown in Image.

However, the moment action "Copy" using Ctrl & C at S. NO. 13 (in below image) is performed in PAD, it shows an error which says - "This action won't work on multiple selections" and as a result i am not able to copy the filtered data and paste into desired workbook.

Please help.

Any other workaround in achieving the desired result, please let me know.

Hi @SA_VOH ,

You can directly use filter using new excel action and read data and that variable you can pass over new excel using write action.

Instead of send keys you can use the below shown action for copy and paste in excel.

Hi @SA_VOH ,

You can see new more number of actions mainly to perform filter activities in Excel can bee seen in 'Excel Automation' under 'Advanced' in PAD. Along with Filter the cells, copy and paste the cells/column etc.

Kindly check, also if you're not updated to latest version of PAD, kindly update it.

Hi,
Read and write is not leading to desired action. Its reading entire column rather than selecting the filtered rows contents only.

Hi Vishnu,
Copy and paste is leading to desired action. Thanks. However, copy & paste doesn't preserve the formatting of destination cells in Excel. And read & write is not looking as viable option as explained by me to @Ahammad_Riyaz above.
