Ask in Power Apps

Hi, I have a automate flow that fylls a word document with information from Power App. But the next step is to create a new word file using another cell from power app. The problem is that when I write in the file name step to ask in PowerApp, I dont know where to define this 'Ask in power app' (create file name) dynamic content.

In my "on select" it just shows the dynamic content to fill the word document.

If i chose the name of the file to be one of the already used dynamic content it works fine but when I write to ask in power app, I dont know how to define it in power app.
Best regards, Wallace

    Hey @wasilvago

    Hope I understood you right:

You created a Power Apps app, and you associated a Power Automate flow with something (like a button). Within your Flow, you used the "Ask in Power Apps" function to get the information from Power Apps, that needs to be filled into a Word template. You already associated the flow within your app. Now you need to add another field using "Ask in Power Apps" and the field does not show in your app / component "OnSelect" your flow is associated with?

    - Using the V1 of the Power Apps trigger within a Flow can be sometimes painful, the only way is to remove the flow from your app (Please first copy the formula to a notepad or something, because this will also be deleted, when you remove the flow from your app). To remove the flow, click on the component within your app (like the button) that triggers the flow, click on "Action" - "Power Automate". Click on the three dots and select remove. When the flow is removed, select the flow from the "Available flows" list within the same screen (like adding it to the app again). Afterwards you should be able to add the new added "Ask in Power Apps".

Does this help you? Otherwise please give me some more information.

    Best regards
    Marvin
