Building a Flow Using Power BI Data Driven Alert

The below screenshot is the flow which I created and having issues with it.

Whenever a data alert is created in Microsoft, I should be able to forward the email which I get as a subscription to the whole team.

I am doing a data refresh once in the morning and once when the data is refreshed I would be getting the subscribed email from Power BI with the data alert Email. So if I get the data alert , then I should be able to send the subscribed email (not the data alert email, this is a different email) to all the team members, which I am not able to do so currently. The Flow is neglecting my Second step.

Your help would be much appreciated on this.

    HI Kris,

Thanks a lot, This is what we wanted to achieve. But can you let me know why my flow is failing?

What I am trying to achieve is:

    1. Data driven alert
    2. When a email arrives with attachment
    3. Send an email with the attachment

It is neglecting my second step, "when an email arrives"

    Hi @psnsharshi,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you want to forward the subscribed email from Power BI to all team members when you get the data alert?

Further, could you please share a bit more about your subscription email from Power BI?

If you want to forward the subscription email from Power BI, you should find it within your Outlook mailbox (or other mailbox) firstly, then forward the subscription email with "Forward an email" action of Outlook connector within your flow.

If you want to find the subscription email within your Outlook mailbox, you should get emails with "Get emails" action of Outlook connector (The "Get emails" action could only get at most 25 emails once) and then add a "Filter array" action to filter the specific subscription email from Power BI. After that, you could forward the specific subscription email. Please take a try with the following workaround:4.JPG

More details about email subscriptions in Power BI, please check the following article:

    https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/introducing-email-subscriptions-in-power-bi-stay-informed-when-it-matters/

    Best regards,

    Kris
