I have the following filter query (CDS) and the error message below. Trying to get the substring to work. Can someone help me figure out this error message or get this working?

Filter Query:

substringof('fsd1245-xxxx-xxxx-x34t-xxxxxxxxx',msdyn_flow_approval_itemlink)

Error Message:

An unknown function with name 'substringof' was found. This may also be a function import or a key lookup on a navigation property, which is not allowed.

    I used

    contains('myvalue',myfield) and that worked.

    Hi @saturation ,

Can you please elaborate more on your requirement .  MSDN link mentions about all functions available to be used.

    Thanks
