Why is STMP and IMAP server information required for email-automation on the Desktop version but not on cloud?

I'm trying to use power automate desktop to send emails but it's asking me a lot more information than the cloud based flows I have been running previously. It's asking me for STMP and IMAP server information. I've been trying to figure it out but nothing is working. I don't really want to contact IT considering I have email integration working fine in the cloud version, is there a way I can find the STMP information and the IMAP info I need in here where it's already working?

That is because cloud flows use modern authentication where you create a connection and that connection is used for your actions.

If you have a Premium plan of Power Automate, you can use the Office 365 Outlook actions in PAD to do the same things that you do in PA cloud.

IMAP and SMTP only makes sense for non-Microsoft mailboxes. Also because basic HTTP authentication has been deprecated by Microsoft last year and you wouldn't be able to retrieve emails via IMAP anyway. Only sending emails via SMTP would work.
