Transfer of Owner for a current Flow?

A co-worker created a flow for our department.  He is leaving and would like to use the current flow but change ownership.  The current flow is not allowing me to change.  Do I have to recreate the flow?  Please advise.

    Assuming that the 'Set primary owner' functionality is not working for you (I don't know how to troubleshoot that), perhaps you can have the existing owner Share the flow with you and then you can make a copy of it as your own using Save as.  I have done this before instead of using ownership.
