power automate desktop-Excel macro

Hi All,

 

How to create a flows  of power automate desktop  and using particular cells find the characters and replace it.

And how to execute on  above using  VB scripts.

 

Pls suggest to me or any idea ping to me .

    How to find out special characters then remove special characters using power automate desktop flows ?

    Hi @rr24072020 

     

    There are 2 options to do this.

     

    1. Use the Find and Replace action of PAD

    This will be a slow process since you need to find every single special character and replace with a blank string.

    2. Write a macro like the User defined function below and call that macro using the 'Run Excel macro' action of PAD. 

    How to remove some special characters from string in Excel? (extendoffice.com)

     

    You can modify the above mentioned function to any specific range or the entire sheet or workbook. 

    This will be a faster approach.
