The 'from' property value in the 'table' action inputs is of type 'String'

Can anyone help me make sense of the following message I'm receiving?

    I think this is because the output of your compose that you are trying to use to create an HTML table is being viewed as a string, not an array.  I think you'll need to use an intermediate step of Parse JSON to turn the compose output into an actual array for the Create HTML action.

    Hi @Pstork1 ,

     

    I've used this same series of steps with another flow and it works everytime.  That's what's causing me confusion on this one.  Would you mind breaking down the intermediate step as suggested?

    The other reason for doing a Parse JSON is that it will let you know if you made some mistake in the syntax of your Compose.  When I built an example like yours I had three tries before I got the JSON just right with commas in the right places.
