Hello,
I built a Power Automate Desktop Flow several weeks ago that mixes a lot of Browser Automation actions with the new SharePoint actions that are still in preview. The Flow was running successfully since I built it, but as of yesterday (1/8/23), I now get a Data Loss Prevention Policy Violation message when I attempt to run the Flow manually. Here are the details of the error message:
Violation on ‘Campus Wide Power Automate Policy’ policy
- The following action groups have been marked by your organization as business and can't be used combined with the following non-business action groups
Business action groups: SharePoint (Preview)
Non-business action groups: HTTP, Folder, File, Browser automation, Mouse and keyboard, UI automation
I'm not a Power Automate or Microsoft 365 admin in our environment, but I can still see the DLP policy. We currently don't have any PA Desktop connectors in the Business Action Group. I don't know if there would be a separate connector for SharePoint or if PA desktop and cloud use the same connector.
Did something change in the past few days that is now causing PA Desktop to enforce DLP policies on this SharePoint connector? I'm using the latest build of PA Desktop.
Sounds to me like your admins have blocked the use of the action module. If you try any other action in that module and receive the same response check with your administrators.
