We are unable to find the site address

We are unable to find the site address. Please try selecting a site address from the dropdown.

Does anyone have any insight on this error? I can Copy a step from an existing flow and it works, but I cannot create a new step in either a new or old flow.

Power Automate even knows that the URL is correct because in the following step it shows me all of my available lists:

In case it helps, I actually don't get a list of SP sites for Step 1. I've always had to enter a custom value.

As a workaround, I have been going into old flows and copying the components that I need... This just seems silly, and it's very inconvenient.

Checked out these as top results. No solution found.

Troubleshooting Steps Performed:

  • Verified Account has Site Permissions
  • Created new flow from scratch
  • Added a new step to an existing [and working] flow
  • Entered URL ending with /
  • Entered URL ending without /

Yes...

  • The URL is definitely correct. I have many working flows that I can copy-paste the URL from; and
  • I definitely am pressing 'Enter custom value'

    A colleague found a workaround.

    1. Click the ellipses (...) for the SharePoint step
    2. Either
      1. Click +Add new connection, add a new User (must be different from the one having this issue), and then select that user; or
      2. Choose a different user from the list, if one is available
    3. Add your Custom SharePoint URL (click into the List Name field after to ensure it parses)
    4. Then swap back to the original account.

A little convoluted and doesn't fix the issue, but is a better workaround than have to Copy pre-existing steps.

I believe I found a better solution than changing User:

1 - Enter the link of the List on the 'Site Address'

2 - Enter the list even if the warning appears and all the data you need

3 - Then press the 3 dots (...) and Copy to clip board

4 - Paste it in step after on your flow.

5 - Once you pasted it the previous step is now accepted, and you can delete the duplicate step you just added. You just can't change anything, if you change something you just need to repeat the process.

    🙂

Yeesh what a bug - thanks for this solution - wish it wasn't a workaround but here we are.
