Hi Gurus,

I need help, I'm new to MS Flow and I'm already running into issues.

I'm trying to post to HP SM 9.40 web service by using the HTTP action item and completing all the necessary fields there, however when flow fails with unresolved host when it tries to post to my HP SM application, I have tried using an IP address instead of using the host name but Flow complains that the value entered is not valid.

I google the error message and was advised to update my host files, does anyone know how to resolve my issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a full screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, could you please show a bit more about your HTTP action?

The error message told that the host name that you provided in the "HTTP" action could not be resolved. Please check if you have filled proper request URL within Uri field of "HTTP" action.

Facing same issue. Is there a resolution for this?

I can access same api using postman but not working in MS flow using Http action

Use server IP address instead of hostname.
So,
- Save new postman output with IP address instead of hostname
- Create new connector and connection using the postman output from above step

Maybe u should check the firewall, or maybe gateway is necessary.
