Hi all,

I need to setup a flow where if someone provides their email address and completes the survey in MSForms then they would receive a unique code on their email as a incentive for feedback.

I know there is a flow where you can send email to whenever a feedback is submitted.

Is there a way where in same email a unique code is added from Online Excel and then sent to the receiver?

It is sort of like those feedback you fill and get a dollar coupon.

Any help would be very useful 🙂

Hey @UsmanAziz

Yes you can do that. Can you share that this coupon will be a globally unique one for each user who fills the survey form? Basically you need to find a way to map a unique connection between the response and the excel. And if there is no relation and you just have the coupon codes stored in an excel, you can probably create a copy of that excel first and add this to the flow:

List rows from an excel table action -> select the top count in this action and enter 1. Now in the apply to each loop for the list generated in this action (although there is just one item, an apply to each will automatically pop) you can add the send email action and then add an action to delete that row. This way you can send the unique codes.

There can be other ways too but this something you can give a try.

Thanks for the info and i tried to set it up but it sends all the codes to the responder email address and doesn't delete automatically from first column 😕

The coupon setup is one table with a sequence and other row with codes

In the List rows action, see the Top Count attribute and provide 1 over there.

Can you expand the delete row action?

Can there be a video step by step, or step by step image college of what this looks like. It seems to address an real time hiccup and not how to do this process from start to finish. 😀
