here is my flow which trigger by power apps. i want to count rows list in Excel. i dont know why the veriable is not working for me. the veriable alwasy gives me a Zero. but if i trigger the flow by using "Manually trigger a flow", it does give a correct counter. any comment?

Hi @EricDa ,

The first action "Get files (properties only)" has returned nothing when using PowerApps trigger. Do you have any custom configurations for this action?

Hi V-jefferni,
thanks for your reply. the action of "get files" is reading a file and pick up the status eq "new" from my sharepoint library. there is no special config

Hi @EricDa ,

Are these two Get files action exact the same, including filter query expression? It seems that the flow with PowerApps trigger get no file using the Get files action.

thanks for your help, Dear v-jefferni, for my powerapps flow only has one "get file" action. it's to pick up file which status eq "New" ,by end of flow, the status will be change to "Completed" , so the next time all "completed" file will be skip for picking up. this flow can be run successfully which means there is file can be pickup, but only the veriable counter is zero.

Dear v-jefferni,
here the screenshot for another "get file" action, it's the same config. but you are right, the output from "get file" aciton of powerapps flow is different with another one. how come?

Hi @EricDa ,

It's quite odd. If you delete the PowerApps trigger then use a Button trigger, will the flow work? Maybe it's a issue of trigger, you can try and use PowerApps V1 trigger, remove and add the flow in PowerApps studio then try to use the flow again.

Yes. it's. but, thank you for you point the right dirction for troubleshooting "get file" action. by somehow, i'm able to get correct counter of rows. i did add some other actions before it and removed them. now, it works.
