Getting dynamic table of Excel items to send as emails

In January/February 2021, user @Pstork1 helped me with a great solution to build a looping email generation. It was looping because it was to produce a dynamic table in each email corresponding to the email address of the person whose records it belonged to, the manager's email would appear multiple times in the spreadsheet since they have many direct reports, so it had to recognise that too.

It was really great and I bookmarked the solution.

When the forums migrated, I lost the solution (among dozens of others). It's not something I used a lot, and what I learned only vaguely formed basis for me to learn how to do other things but I never committed to memory how to do this.

It's a lovely solution I'd like to save for good as it's so handy. Does anyone know how to recreate it? I only vaguely remember initialise variable, condition, html table, doing some JSON mapping for the tables...

I only remember that vaguely because at one point it wasn't working and I said it was ok that I appreciated the help but I didn't want to waste his time, but Pstork persisted to ensure I got it. I didn't have the right commas.

thank you

Since you said you do not post too frequently, it should be easy to find the post where you asked for assistance. Do this:
    1. Click on your forum profile picture at the top right.
    2. Choose My activity from the menu
    3. Look through your posts to find the one where you got the reply.
    4. Filter it on My questions to make it easier.

Hi @David_MA, Microsoft told me that profile no longer exists, and also that the post would've been deleted in the forum migration. The solution was on my old work account, not this one, this is new.

I also have gone back 50 pages on Pstork1's profile and I'm still in summer 2025. Ok, I've use inspect element to manipulate where the buttons send me so I could skip back to 2021 (page 1000!!!!)

Well. I went through all of January and February 2021 on Pstork1's profile and I couldn't find it.

Sorry to hear all that history got wiped out with the migration of the forums. I thought everything was to be retained. However, I am not sure I fully understand what you need. To get a new response, you may need to further explain what you are trying to achieve. However, I think you may be looking to do this:
    • You have a list of e-mail addresses
    • You then need to get items from a SharePoint list for each e-mail address
    • Then create a table with details of the items found based on those e-mail addresses
    • Send the person the table of those items via e-mail

Hi @David_MA, thanks for getting back. While commiserating a bit in my reply to you that I should've wayback machined the link, I decided to just search engine the link, and another version of the link came up. GOD THANK YOU.
