Outlook mail "To" property content is unusual in PAD

We are reading the "To" value of mails with Power Automate Desktop. Inside this value should usually be a list of mail addresses. But right now, there are some unusual values and no mail addresses. The text is attached as a screenshot and written here: "/O=EXCHANGELABS/OU=EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP..."

Mail property To weird output (censored).PNG

I am using a recent version of PAD: 2.15.284.21354

Is it maybe a setting, that we can change in Outlook?

I have the same question (0)

I’ve only seen that with contact groups or shared inboxes (multiple email accounts in a single listing) such as Ops_Team (the contact group) or Ops_Team@company.com (the shared email that hits everyone’s inbox who is in Ops_Team).

I would try to change your logic to work around this; I haven’t found a good solution.

my best guess on a reasonable solution would be:

If %Email. To% contains “needed text”, then do X.

I think you should use the Exchange group of actions instead of the Outlook ones.

We are using Exchange Azure and Power Automate doesn't seem to be able to access that.

Additionally, the mentioned issue only occurs with internal mail addresses not with external ones.

Are you in Power Automate or Power Automate Desktop?

Sorry, you said that earlier in the original post.  It is a distribution group, which is why it is showing up like that.  I get one similar for my team email:

I have been able to extract the "cn" number using this through "Get Subtext":

but I can't convert the cn number to an email (which is what I was trying to do with PowerShell).  I think you need Active Directory in order to do so, but here is Microsoft's site that I was trying to use in order to attempt this:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/get-distributiongroup?view=exchange-ps

    Best of luck!
