Using the Flow function to "link to SharePoint item" doesn't go to custom PowerApps Form

Hi,

I have a flow using th FLOW function "Link to SharePoint item" however the email notification link opens the default SharePoint list form not the custom powerapps display form?

If I click open on the item in the list it does open the powerapps form.

Is this a known issue or is it a configuration issue on my side?

Kind Regards,

Angela

@v-xida-msft Thank you for your reply.

So I have a sharepoint list form customized in powerapps (new, display and edit form).

Yes I am using the Link to SharePoint item in FLOW from the dynamic content and thought it would default to the list item display form customized in PowerApps but it just shows the standard list form.

Below is the email config in FLOW with reference to the link to item. The link does take me to the correct item its just that its not the customized PowerApp form and reverts to the standard list form. Upon clicking edit

on the ribbon it does open the powerapp form though.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

    Regards,

    Angela

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please show more details about the "Link to SharePoint item" function that you mentioned? Is the Link to item dynamic content?

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, could you please share a bit more about the link that you clicked?

If the "Link to SharePoint item" function that you mentioned is the Link to item dynamic content, you could only get to the file or list item within your SharePoint library or list via clicking the link (The "Link to item" dynamic content returns). In addition, only people with permissions to the item will be able to open the link.

If you could provide more details about your scenario, we would provide a proper workaround for you.

    Best regards,

    Kris
