Hey there,

I got a finished and working Approval Process with Power Apps and Power Automate.

In Power Apps i have a approve/reject button in a gallery, who are linked to the SP List Item. (Genehmien=Approve/Ablehnen=Reject)

If you click on one button, it directly brings you to the Approval in powerautomate.com, where you can confirm the Approval. After that, the flow in the background finishes, since its on "wait for approval".

However, my employees asked me if i can approve directly on the approve/reject button in PowerApps, without getting to the Powerautomate page. While doing some research i found out you can do this through the "update row" in Dataverse through Power Automate. I made it work, that the Approval is being set to Approve/Reject. The problem is, that my approval flow is still running.

So i also tried to update the "Flow-Approval".

... still, my Approval flow is running. Even thought the Approval is "Approved" and inactive.

Does anyone know how i can make the flow to continiue?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, did you ever find a solution to this? If so, what ended up working for you?

If not, have you tried updating the other Dataverse tables associated with approvals? Such as: Approval Requests, Approval Responses, Approval Step, Flow Approvals?

i quit using approvals. Instead i created an approvals Sharepoint list and coded it in Power Apps. Works as good and the user experience is much better.
