Use your model training - error ‘WorkflowOperationParametersExtraParameter’

Hi,

During my “Use Your Model” training, I managed to create an AI Builder that can recognize and filter invoices. Now I'm on step 3, where I need to automate it in Power Automate. I chose the default “Build intelligent automations” template. The flow says you should test it first before making any changes.

Immediately, I received the error message: ‘WorkflowOperationParametersExtraParameter’ and the message ‘The API operation does not contain a definition for parameter 'item/source’

Together with my co-pilot, I tried to resolve this, but without success because I cannot find the step where ‘item/source’ is missing. Can anyone help me further?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Please try:
Unpublish and republish your AI Builder model, then refresh (or recreate) the Power Automate flow.
This synchronizes the model with the current AI Builder connector schema and removes the hidden item/source parameter that causes the error.

It is caused by AI Builder model version vs. connector schema drift. Republishing the model may help!

    Hope it helps!

    Hi @charallina

I’ve tried unpublishing and republishing the model several times. But the error message mentioned above kept appearing.

That’s why I tried recreating the model. But now I’m constantly getting error messages during training the model.
    • It starts with: “Training failed and the model cannot be used”
    • When I click on “Edit,” I’m taken back to one of the first steps (where you normally select the document type—I select ‘invoices’) and see the message: “Changing document type is not possible. To use a different type, please create a new document processing model.”
    • When I follow the steps again according to the training, the documents are still loaded, but the ‘Adam’ documents need to be re-evaluated. The problem here is often that the invoice amount is split across two tables. I then select that ‘paidInFourInstallments’ is not in this document and can proceed to the next document, where the same problem occurs.
    • Even when I click on the ‘Contoso’ documents, the same error message appears, even though these documents had already been approved previously.
    • If I have only the ‘Items’ table checked in all documents and all other categories marked as ‘not found in this document,’ I can retrain it, but the same error message occurs.

I've attached photos of most of the error messages.

I made several attempts on Friday afternoon, deleted the models, and started over from scratch. Each time, I was unsuccessful. Even today, I can't seem to get a single model to retrain. Maybe once this problem is resolved, I can continue with my training.

    Kind regards,

    Vera Boelens
