Microsoft Power Automate Desktop won't stop after doing close web browser action

I am using launch firefox action to open a local index.html

then i use close web browser. The browser was closed but power automate desktop kept running.

could anyone help me ?

Hi @XUEFENGPENG ,

Check whether the action is still running on same close browser or not, is not after close browser action next step Stop flow action.

If still is in close browser use exception handling give timeout and run next action.

This issue due to PAD consuming more ram while running bot and some PAD bugs next update it may be resolve.

I chose another action 'Close Windows' Instead, i am not sure if this is a bug of 'Close web browser' when it tried to close a web page from a local index.html , the url is not like usual one 'https://xxx'

Okay got it!! Instead of Firefox, have you tried with another browser?

Some troubleshooting steps:
1. Change browser like chrome or edge and launch with same URL
2. Instead of using local html, try to use same other URL like www.google,com

and observe those steps also causing some issues.

After trying with any other browser still not working then you can try with close window.

since i have workaround now , i did not try another browser. 'Close web browser' works on my previous project with normal http link.

Hi @XUEFENGPENG ,

Just try the browser extension disabling and enabling again.
If it doesnt work please raise a ticket to Microsoft support.

I suspect there may be issue with URL you are using. Could you pls change your URL and see whether it works fine.
