I am trying to trigger an email when a person is mentioned in a Channel thread

As the title explains I want a Power automate flow that send an email to the individual who is mentioned in a thread within a teams channel.  I have had some luck getting the email to trigger for new posts but I am still having trouble getting the email to trigger for mentions on an existing thread.  I considered using keyword as the trigger as well but I'm having difficulty determining what a channel item is (screenshot attached).

    Hi there!
     
    Keyword actions and triggers are not reliable, and you might get them up and running only to find them fail silently with no recourse. I got this up and running quickly tonight and as the old saying goes, works in testing.
     
     
    The trigger only has 2 parameters to set team and channel; there are no channel items.
     
     
    Next you need to get the user profile of the person that mentioned you and use the dynamic content from the trigger userId, shown below.
     
     
    The send email action uses the dynamic content "Mail" from the Get user action.

    I appreciate the quick reply, I had this setup as well and it works for new posts but does not work for Mentions on an existing thread.  If there is a better way to get email notifications for Mentions I'm all ears.
