How to edit my Flow with the new webhook URL in Power Automate?

Hi,

I'm using the SAP playground environment of Power Automate.

I got an email, which notifies me about an updated webhook URL:

"Your flow 'Post to a channel when a webhook request is received' has a new trigger URL"

I’ve found the new URL by clicking the edit button of the flow, but it’s not clear where is the old URL which needs to be replaced.

Can you please advise?

Best regards,

Boaz

    Hey Adam,

I was looking at this guide that you've added, but couldn't understand how to implement the first paragraph - see below.
In other words, I wasn't able to find the places that have reference to the old trigger URL. Can you advise?

    1. Update URL references:

      • Identify all external applications and systems (such as web apps, Power Apps, flows, and others) that reference the old trigger URL.
      • Replace the old trigger URL with the updated URL displayed in the trigger card of your flow's designer.

    You need to do this:
    1. Open the flow that has the trigger, When an HTTP request is received.
    2. Copy the HTTP POST URL:
    3. Go to your flow, flows, PowerApps, etc. that call the above flow.
    4. Update the URL of the HTTP Post request with the new URL:
That is about it. I had 84 flows to update, and this has worked in all of them so far. I have heard of some issues if you JSON body scheme is complicated, but as you can see, I keep mine rather simple by just passing the ID of the related SharePoint item from one flow to the next.

    Hi,

In this case, I'm trying to create a webhook, so there isn't another flow which is calling. Still, not clear where to put the new URI after I copied the new one.

    Hi

Old webhook URLs in Power Automate usually look like this: https://prod-08.switzerlandnorth.logic.azure.com/... or https://prod-34.westeurope.logic.azure.com:443/workflows/...

These URLs point to the old Logic Apps endpoints, which have now been replaced with the new Power Platform environment URLs (for example: https://<environment>.api.powerplatform.com/...).

Tips to find where the old URL is used:

    1. Check other Power Automate flows: Open your other flows and look for actions such as HTTP, HTTP POST, or HTTP Request that might still reference the old logic.azure.com endpoint.

    2. Search connected Power Apps: In Power Apps Studio, use the global search (Ctrl + Shift + F) to look for logic.azure.com or parts of the old URL.

    3. Check SAP or other external systems: In your SAP environment, review any HTTP destinations, outbound calls, or integration configurations that send data to Power Automate.

    4. Review code and scripts: Search through custom scripts, webhooks, PowerShell jobs, SharePoint or Teams integrations, or scheduled tasks for the old URL.

Once you locate the old URL references, replace them with the new trigger URL shown in your flow’s designer (the one ending with .api.powerplatform.com).

After updating and saving those configurations, your flow should start triggering again as expected.
