Get emails (V3) Index was outside the bounds of the array

I have a desktop flow that has been working for months. This week the get emails (V3) has started throwing an error that the index was outside the bounds of the array. All this action is doing is getting a list of the emails in the inbox. I have deleted the action, created new connection, tried other folders in the mailbox. Changed the criteria around the get emails (V3) action. Nothing works. Is anyone else experiencing or have advice how to resolve please?
I have the same question (0)

hi please share your flow and configuration.

I was not able gto reproduce it, but I am one version back from current, so I wonder if you need to roll back one.

I discovered the solution yesterday. When using the Get Emails (V3) action, ensure that all filters are properly filled out. Specially, set the Original Mailbox Address to match the email address used in the connection reference.

I have the same problem, with some folders it works, but with others it doesn't. Has anyone found the solution?

Same problem here, filling the Original Mailbox Adress field didn't solve the problem.

The most strange part is, if I start the flow using the Power Automate Cloud Flow panel, it runs with no problem, but if I try running directly in the machine through the PA application, I get this error...

I was able to solve this problem by creating a new folder and a rule forwarding the inbox messages to it. After that, the bot read the messages with no issues.

Found this solution in another post from a few days ago.

Seems to be an issue with the amount of email in the target folder.

Hi, we have the same issue and the subfolder with the rule didn't completely solve the problem for us.

However, it did lead us to conclude that this appears to be a BUG with the amount of email in the folder being targeted.

After creating a subfolder and a rule which moved all of the target email into it, the Get Emails V3 action was still failing with same "Index was out of bounds of the array" error. So, then I tried upping the "Top" parameter to the maximum - 1000. After that the action took a lot longer to run and then failed with a different error - "cloud connector call failed with status code 'badgateway'". It seemed like it timed out at that point.

Then, I disabled the Inbox rule and moved all but 3 of the target emails back to the Inbox folder.

I left the Get Emails V3 action pointed at the subfolder (now with only 3 emails in it). Then it worked on the next run.

So, it seems this is a BUG. No matter what folder the Get Emails V3 action is pointed at, if it has too many emails in it, it will fail with the "Index was out of bounds of the array" error in the current version of Power Automate desktop.

Thank you all for the help. I found if you have more emails in the folder then your top listed in the action it will give you this error. I found even though it says 1,000 is the max I found 250 is the working max.
