On Conversation Start not appearing in Copilot

The 'on conversation start' trigger only works in my test panel, and when I deployed the agent to Teams or Copilot - it doesn't appear. I know that there is a known issue with the 'on conversation' start trigger in Teams, but shouldn't it be able to appear in Copilot chat?

Hi @ZM-10020918-0,

It's the same thing in M365 Copilot I'm afraid. The On Conversation Start is not triggered.

The 'On Conversation Start' trigger should work in Teams / M365 Copilot Chat when YOU send a message first; in the test window it will instantly trigger, but you must manually send a message in those specific channels.

Under Known limitations in M365 Copilot.

As already been said by other users here, Copilot Chat expects the user to start the conversation from that chat, rather than the agent proactively posting.
