I am building a PoC Agent that needs to do the following:

When trigger event received the bot should send personalised message to user in teams (assume that the conversationid is being passed in for each).

This needs to allow responses to be sent back to continue the conversation logic in Copilot (sent through to the user in teams).

I have been able to send message via teams using Power Automate (this can be triggered in Copilot) but any follow up interactions would need to be handled in Power Automate.

I thought that the Trigger Agent Preview feature would allow this type of behaviour as it allows you to specify the conversationid as a parameter. I am able to execute this trigger but it doesnt generate the message in teams.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. I'm sure this must be a common use case......

Hello Andrew,

I really suggest you to not use the event triggers on your workloads yet, because it's a preview feature, which means that it's incomplete. You can test them, of course, but don't expect to receive a fully working product. As you can see it's not always working, moreover you can receive a breaking update tomorrow and your solution won't work.
