Re: Calling an API using POST method

Hi @rzaneti ,

This is an API from a service my client uses to send SMS' I do not have access to error logs unfortunately.

I also cannot be using other external tools other than the allowed ones due to security reasons.

What I can tell you is that I can only perform the API call successfully on Postman so far. I have also installed PAD on my own company machine and no success either (postman works on my machine too).

Here is a screenshot of all my configuration on both sides:

The body has " on one side and ' on the other, that's because I was testing with both and I've tried changing it around but still hasn't made any difference.

Not sure if this will help with anything but I'm all out of ideas here 😄

Thank you,

Marian

    Hi @Marian00,

Sorry, I thought that you were working with the PA for Web. We have an exclusive forum for PAD in the community and I'm now moving your post to there, as more people with expertise in PAD will be able to support 🙂

    Hi @rzaneti ,

Oh my bad, it's the 1st time I'm using the forum and I didn't find a category for PAD when I created the post.

Thank you for moving it 😄 hopefully someone will be able to help me.

What I have tried so far:
    • Copy most of the headers from Postman to PAD
    • Try calling the API outside of the client's network
    • Different settings suggested by the community
None of it has worked so far.

    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hello,

I have found a workaround for this issue by running a Powershell script to make the API call.

I couldn't make the web service activity to work in any shape or form. Not sure if there is any bug with that activity but that's that.

Thank you to anyone that tried to help!
