Hi, I was reading the documentation for Co-Pilot Studio, and I found that users are able to add Co-Pilot Studio to the Bot Framework Composer.
Getting started with Bot Framework Composer - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn
However, I'm a bit confused because I can't find the Composer option in my topic management.
- Does this trial affect the availability of this composer feature ?
- Do i need full license to get this feature ?
since i need the composer ASAP.
Hi @adhiem
Using Bot Framework Composer to extend bots is only available on the classic, full, version of Copilot Studio. The new, "unified authoring", version (the one from your screenshot) no longer supports it and it’s not coming back. The reason is that you should be able to use the modern, web-based, authoring canvas for most of your requirements.
In the Copilot Studio for Teams version, while it’s the classic version, extending with Bot Framework is also not included as it’s considered as a premium feature.
Please review this article on how legacy composer concepts map to modern equivalents: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/composer-concepts-preview
