Connecting Dynamics 365 Data to Copilot Studio's Knowledge Source

I have data in the "Project" table found within Power Apps, which stores all of the projects we have in Dynamics 365. I can see the data in Power Apps when I have the table open, but when I add the table as a knowledge source within Copilot Studio using the type "dataverse", the preview says "there are no records in this item".

Hi,

First of all, are you using the same user account or permissions for the agent to access the Dataverse table? Sometimes there might be a caching delay before a preview will be visible. Have you also checked if there are more tables with the same label?

Despite of not having a preview, have you tested the agent to check if it already can use the table as knowledge source?

@André Arnaud de Calavon My permissions were correct and so was my user account. It turns out I was in the default environment in Copilot Studio, but my Dataverse data was in the production environment, which was not the default.

Once I switched to the correct environment in Copilot Studio, I have been able to access the data without an issue.

Thanks for updating the question with your own findings. Great that you sorted it yourself. Yes, logically... the wrong environment... I made that mistake also several times myself.
