After speaking with Microsoft about this issue, they recommended to post my request here.
**I am not looking for a work around**
I would like to have the ability to have a dropdown in the reusable component input properties, see image. The values of the dropdown could either be static or a table passed in with traditional Text/Value pairs.
It would also be nice to have the ability to have other system dropdowns, like a list of Fonts.
