Deployment to device not working - does PAD need to be installed with a license?

I have followed all of the steps in this article to prep a device for ANY kind of deployment: attended or unattended.

Hi and thanks for reading,

The article simply details that the target device needs to have a Gateway installed and online. My user indeed has access to the gateway, and I can see it from my dashboard and can select it from the 'Run PAD flow' connector. However when I try to make the connection within the connector setup, it fails with:

"Failed to create connection for connection id '/providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_uiflow/connections/shared-uiflow-GUID'. error putting connection /providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_uiflow/connections/shared-uiflow-GUID for connector /providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_uiflow"

Does the target machine need to have PAD installed with a full Attended license? What kind of licensing is required for end-point machines? Or is there another issue?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @younceb

You will need both the Gateway and PAD installed on the PC for attended flows to run from the Cloud.  When it comes to licensing take a look here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=2085130&clcid=0x409 but I believe your user will need a $15 per month per user as per https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/automate-tasks-with-power-automate-desktop-for-windows-10-no-additional-cost/
