Hello,

i created a new environment on the power platform. Now i want to give certain users access to the environment so they can build power automate flows. But i get error when they try to access.

I followed these steps but users still have no access:

1. I created a Entra ID security group and added the users.

2. On the environment i created a team. The team is of type "Microsoft Entra ID Security Group" and Membership type "Members". I assigned the created Security Group.

3. I Managed the security roles of the team and added the roles "Baisc User" and "Environment Maker"

When the User open Power Apps they see the new environment in the List. But when hey try to access it they get the message "You don't have access to that environment".

The creation and changes were made 24 hours ago.

What am I missing?

    Hi @LuITS

    Plz check this

In Power Platform, seeing the environment in the list ≠ having Dataverse access.
If the environment has Dataverse, the user must also exist as a Dataverse user.

Security group → Team → Roles does not automatically create the Dataverse user record.

    • Go to Power Platform Admin Center
    • Open the Environment
    • Click Settings → Users + permissions → Users
    • Click Add user
    • Add the users (or the security group)
    • Assign at least:
    1. Basic User
    2. Environment Maker

Once the user record exists in Dataverse, the Team-assigned roles will start working.

    Thanks!
