ReadOnly Security Role

Hi

I am in the need for a security role that can see all Dataverse table in an environment, but not make any changes.

I thought I could use the Service Reader role, but It can not be assigned to a normal user. Does that mean that I need to make a custom role and mark alle the tables as read only?
If I do this, what if a new table is created? Will a user with that role be able to see this new table?

I hope I made myself clear.

Best regards
Thomas

If you edit the roles in the environment in the Power Platform Admin center you can copy the Service Reader role to a new role.  That will duplicate all the permissions, but it can be assigned to a user.  See if that works for you.

You should create a custom role and set permissions. You will have to set permissions for every table that access would be required from as access would not be immediately granted for your read only security role. Standard roles are granted access to new tables but not custom roles.
