Infinite loading screen after renewing expired tria

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing a persistent infinite loading screen (blue spinner) when trying to access my Copilot Studio environment.

Context:

  • My previous Copilot Studio trial recently expired.

  • I have since accepted/signed up for a new trial on the same account.

  • Every time I log in to web.powerva.microsoft.com, I am met with the loading animation, but the dashboard never renders.

Steps I've already tried:

  • Refreshing the page and performing a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5).

  • Attempting to log in via an Incognito/Private window (same result).

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies for Microsoft domains.

It seems like my account is stuck in a provisioning loop between the expired license and the new trial license. Has anyone encountered this "session hang" after a trial renewal, and is there a specific way to force the environment to re-sync?

    Why This Happens
    Environment Provisioning Stuck:
The expired trial environment may not be fully deprovisioned, or the new trial environment is not correctly assigned.
    License/Environment Mismatch:
Your account may be in a state where it has a license but no valid environment, or vice versa.
    How to Fix
    Switch Environments (if possible):
In the top-right of the Copilot Studio portal, try switching to a different environment (if any are listed).
Sometimes, the default environment is broken, but others work.
    Check Power Platform Admin Center:
Go to Power Platform Admin Center.
See if your environments are listed and their status (active, disabled, etc.).
If your old trial environment is still present but disabled, try deleting it.
    Remove and Re-add License:
If you have admin access, remove the Copilot Studio/Power Virtual Agents license from your account, wait 10–15 minutes, then reassign it and try again.
    Wait and Retry:
Sometimes, it takes several hours for Microsoft’s backend to fully provision or deprovision environments after a license change.

This is likely a backend provisioning issue in Microsoft Copilot Studio caused by the transition from your expired trial to a new trial.

    point for attention
    • Your account is probably stuck between old and new environment/license states
    • This causes the infinite loading (spinner)
    • It’s not a browser issue
    What to try
    • Open environments directly and switch:
    • web.powerva.microsoft.com/environments
    • Check environment status in Power Platform Admin Center
    • Re-trigger provisioning via Power Apps (make.powerapps.com)
    • Ensure old/expired environments are cleaned up
    If still not resolved
Raise a Microsoft support ticket to:
    • Reset provisioning
    • Fix license/environment sync
