Append CSV file with in OneDrive using flow

Hi,

Is there any way to do append action for CSV file which is already available in Onedrive.

If so, please guide me to resolve the issue. I am able to read the csv file content from Onedrive but unable to append it to the destination file which is also available in Onedrive location.

I have used update file activity but it is overwriting the file content instead of merging.

Regards,

Roselin

    @Anonymous

    If you just want to add one CSV data set to another, and they have the exact same columns, then you may be able to put the dynamic content output of one file in a Compose, go one linebreak down, then enter the other csv file’s dynamic content.

    And if they have headers, then you can split the 2nd file on linebreaks, skip the 1st row, then convert it back to a string with a join on linebreaks.

    Hi,

    I have tried doing above steps & getting expected result and also I can parse that into JSON also. But how to append that data into already existing CSV file in Onedrive. If I use Update it is overwriting the file instead of merging. Please help me on this.

    Regards,

    Roselin

    I created a test and successfully appended two CSV file contents to a single file as I described earlier.

    If you include both the existing data & the data you want to append, then it will overwrite it with both the existing data & the new data combined.
