We are trying to create a custom chatbot for a specific topic, restricted to 2 or 3 specific internal documents.
The issue is that sometimes, when responding, the chatbot goes beyond these documents and searches the internet, which is not intended. What can we do?

It doesn't search the internet. You might be getting responses based on pre-trained data for the model. Try adjusting content moderation settings and see if it helps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/nlu-boost-conversations#content-moderation

Yes, I’ve already done that from the beginning and opted for the more conservative option but it stills does the same (get information that is not in the specific documents).

Hello,
So, I have 3 documents as a data source, but the bot chatbot goes to the internet getting information, as its responses are not based on these documents (only in same cases).

If you haven't provided URLs for public websites, it will not go and search over the internet.

Can you share you Gen Answers node setting? What do you have there in content moderation? It should be under the conversational boosting topic.

Your copilot gives citations for its answers (the little numbers and links). Could you give an example of a situation where an internet source is cited ?
The GPT models which are used have knowledge of most things pre-2021 (example, you ask a question about teams that is not in your documents, the model might answer it without checking the internet).
