Canvas App embedded in a Model Driven App count as a seperate App in PAYG?

Hello,

I have the following Question:

I embedded a Canvas App into a Model Driven App.

Also I activated the Pay-as-you-go billing for my environment. When a user opens the Canvas App from inside the model driven app, does the canvas app count as a seperate app? Do I have to only pay for the model driven app access or also the canvas app access?

 

I know, that for the per-app plan (which is no longer available), an embedded canvas app does not count as a seperate app.

But maybe there are changes to the pay as you go plan.

    You can use Custom Page instead of Canvas Apps.
     
    In Microsoft Power Apps, Canvas Apps and Custom Pages are both built using the same canvas designer,

    A Custom Page is also built using the canvas designer, but it runs inside a Model-Driven App.
     
    Model-driven apps belong to:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Dataverse-based business apps
    Custom pages are used to create modern UI experiences inside model-driven apps

    Licensing for Canvas Apps
    Canvas apps depend on the connectors you use.
    License required:
    • Microsoft 365 license

    Licensing for Custom Pages
    Custom Pages always require Dataverse because they run inside Model-Driven Apps.
     
    So the license required is:
    • Power Apps Premium
    or
    • Dynamics 365 license
