Hi,
Yeah, this can be a bit scary when it happens, but it’s something people are starting to see with the Vibe preview in Power Apps.
What’s likely happening is that Vibe (being a preview feature) doesn’t always persist apps the same way as standard Canvas or Model-driven apps. So even though you built something, it may not have been fully saved or published into your environment in a stable way.
When you see:
- “Untitled No Description”
- “You don’t have an app yet”
it usually means the app metadata exists, but the actual app content isn’t properly linked or stored.
Here are a few things you can try:
First, check if the app exists in your environment outside Vibe:
- Go to Power Apps → Apps
- Make sure you’re in the correct environment
- Look for any app with a similar name or recently modified timestamp
If you find it, try opening it in the regular editor instead of Vibe.
Second, check Solutions:
- Go to Solutions → Default Solution (or your custom one)
- Look for the app there
- Sometimes apps created in preview features show up here instead
Third, confirm environment:
- Make sure you’re in the same environment where you created the app
- Preview links sometimes switch environments silently
Fourth, version/history (if available):
- If the app exists, check version history and restore a previous version
Important point:
Since Vibe is still in preview, there are limitations:
- Apps may not auto-save reliably
- Sessions may not persist
- Artifacts might not be fully created in Dataverse
So if none of the above works, it’s possible the app wasn’t fully saved to the platform, and recovery may not be possible.
For future work, it’s safer to:
- Regularly save/publish
- Export to a solution
- Or move to standard Canvas app editor once initial design is done
So in short, try locating it via Apps/Solutions in the correct environment. If it’s not there, it’s likely a preview limitation rather than something you did wrong.
Best regards,
Satyam Pandey
