Unable to open a Word File created in Sharepoint folder

Hi all,

I've been trying to build a flow whereby a user would submit a Microsoft Form and the information they submitted would then be compiled in an Word / Excel file in a sharepoint drive.

I can get the flow to create the document, however any attempts to open the document are then met with an error message;

Unable to open file in Word Online.png

Here's my Flow;

And here's the 'Create file' action that i'm using;

Create file in sharepoint.png

Any suggestions on how this criteria could be met with other connectors would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks Alice,

    This passes through all the information gathered by the form & is openable within Microsoft teams. It is a shame that the same file can't be edited within teams, but it performs the desired action at it's core!

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @Yacob_hard,

    I have made a test on my side and the issue is confirmed on my side.

    You couldn't insert the answer of the form in the "File Content" field of Create file action.The "File Content" field of Create file action require the binary content.

    You could take a try to create the .text file instead of the .docx file on your side.

    Best regards,

    Alice
