Powerapps and Sharepoint (Guest Access)

I have a community of users across multiple tenants/organizations and I need a way for them to collaborate and share tracking information and data.

I created a Sharepoint site in one tenant that allows Guest access and set everyone up in it without a problem. However, as soon as I added Powerapps views to the lists, everything fell apart. All of the guests are getting errors that they need licenses assigned, but I can't figure out how. They have licenses in their own tenants, but I can't see any way to assign them in the tenant where they're guests.

According to other postings, guest access to Powerapps was planned for end of year 2018. Did something happen to derail this? Is there something in my tenant that needs to be enabled?

If I can't get them access, is there any easy way to replicate an app/data across tenants and keep them in sync?

    Hi @jbenfield ,

I guess the External User must have an account that is supported by Azure AD B2B, B2C external collaboration. This includes Azure AD accounts (that may exist in different tenants) and this includes Microsoft Accounts (like '@outlook.com'). The user must have the appropriate license assigned to run the app (Included with Office, PowerApps plan 1 or PowerApps plan 2).

Model driven apps can already be shared with guests of an Azure AD tenant as per this doucment:

Hey, I know you've had this sorted for you, but I've just had the same issue and came across a solution, that whilst less than desirable, enabled me to expose the PowerApps customised forms for guests in our environment.

We ended up having to apply an E3 license to those guest users in our environment (even though they had that same license type in their environment) and then it worked.

Doesn't make much sense to me as why, but thats what we've found.
