AI Builder - Form Processing where table has multiple rows.

Hi Expert, Members,

We have PDF documents extracted in form processing, model working fine with table and multiple page tables, AI Builder has successfully detected all the various fields we require, but does not appear capable of dealing with when the Form/model has more than a single item included in the table in loop while giving output. It creates multiple Email for each field and keep triggering Email for every field in For Loop.

Is there a way to get it to loop through and grab the additional rows?

    Hi @amitlalms,

Indeed, sending an email for each row in the table can result in lots of emails! 😄

There's two things you can do:

    1. If you want to display the table results in an email, you can use the Create HTML table action like this:

    * On the From input put: {name of your table} entries

    * Set columns input to: Custom

    * For each of the columns: {name of your table} {column} value

    2. You can also store the extracted values of the table in an array. In the following example I'm saving all the values for all the rows for the Amount column in my table. You can then use this array in successive actions in your flow.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for your inputs. I am trying both options, create HTML is more suitable! Just received this issue on simple non-tabled form processing entry.  Looks like Parse JSON body into this array variable is mandatory here. Please advise!

    Thanks for the update @amitlalms!

Can you share a screenshot on how you've configured the Create HTML table action?

    • In the From input, you should put a table. {the name of your table} entries.
    • In the Columns input, set it to Custom
    • Then define the different columns in your table. For each column, set it to {the name of your table} {the name of your column} value

    Thanks @amitlalms!

I think what is causing this is that you are using Table121 on the value column, try to remove it.

    You should have:

    Header Value
    SystemIndicator Table121 Indicator value
    Value Table121 Value value

Keep us posted on the progress! 🙂

Thank you @JoeF-MSFT  Super helpful so far! I'm very close but unfortunately, I'm stuck in my internal subscription limitation, I wasn't noticing and observing it earlier. I'm trying to see if I can get it enabled again for re-running the flows 😞

    Thanks @JoeF-MSFT !!!
Finally, I got it working as per your input earlier. Just closing this thread. Able to capture HTML format in tables
Now another issue, to get this on Power Apps with attachment (tricky part) , opening another thread.
