I'm adding a list with > 12 lookups (including people types and built-in fields). It is not erroring out. Has this limitation been resolved somehow?
Did you create a single view containing greater than 12 lookup fields? It is only when you try to view or query the list that the Lookup Column View Threshold is exceeded.
We do not have any SP views with >=12 lookups. I was able to execute a Filter within PowerApps.
Then I don't see a reason to think why the problem no longer exists.
Thanks, but i'm looking for something official that this was addressed.
I still get the same errors, but I'm intrigued it works for you.
I wouldn't count on anything official on this because it is internal implementation detail regarding which APIs the SharePoint connector uses under the hood.
can you supply details on what errored for you? just adding the datasource to app? calling code? etc.
Adding data source = No errors
Adding as data source to gallery = No errors, but also no records returned
Forcing data to be returned by using a function such as Collect() = "error when trying to retrieve data from the network: The query cannot be completed because the number of lookup columns it contains exceeds the lookup column threshold"
Ugh, ClearCollect did the trick and caused the issue. Thanks
