Change Dynamics connection between Environment

Hi!
I have two environments, development and QA.

I build an application in the development environment with dynamics connectors (That takes the data and set the data from development environment)

When I export my app and import the app to the QA environment , I get inside of the application (edit) and all the connection is still pointing to development environment.

How can I change environment without to to edit my app and change manually the connection.

Thank you.

Are you using the CDS connector? If so, did you use the CDS (Current Environment) connector?

In either case, you can remove your datasources and add them back in your new environment. You might see some errors but they can easily be removed by just retyping the formulas.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.
No, I am not using CDS, I am using Dynamics 365 connector and yes after I transferred between the environments I can remove and add the new construction to the new environment but I want to know if there is automatic way.

    Thank you

Not with the Dynamics 365 connector.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you want the D365 connection to be changed into the D365 connection in QA Environment automatically when you import the app into your QA Environment?

If you want the D365 connection to be changed into the D365 connection in QA Environment automatically when you import the app into your QA Environment, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

When you imported a canvas app from one Environment to the target Environment, the connection created in your source Environment would be invalid. Changing connection automatically across Environments is not supported in PowerApps currently.

As an alternative solution, you could consider create a connection to the D365 which is in your QA Environment within your canvas app, then export the canvas app into a package file, then import the package file into your QA Environment, then you do not need to edit your app to change the D365 connection.

Note: When you create a connection to D365 within a canvas app, you could select specific Environment the D365 connects to.

    Best regards,
